Toyota To Start Taking Bookings For The Urban Cruiser On AUG 22!

Think of the Urban Cruiser as a Toyota branded Vitara Brezza with minute changes

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) is planning to introduce the second player into the Toyota- Maruti Suzuki shared product lineup- the rebadged Vitara Brezza or the Toyota Urban Cruiser as it is to be commercially known post-launch. The manufacturer has now announced that it would begin taking in bookings for the car on Aug 22, 2020.

While we are yet to see it fully, we do know that the Urban Cruiser will not be a typically rebadged Suzuki like the Toyota Glanza. The car would have significant design tweaks. From the images that TKM has teased us with, we could see that the Urban Cruiser has a grille-design that’s been inspired by the larger Fortuner. The overall shape would remain glued to that of the Brezza while a new set of trapezoidal fog lamps are expected on the Urban Cruiser. Also, what would set the interior of the Urban Cruiser from its Maruti Suzuki counterpart would be its dark brown color scheme.

The feature and safety lists would be shared between the SUVs. The Urban Cruiser would be powered by Suzuki’s 1.5L four-pot petrol mill and would have a 4AT on offer as well. The automatics would come with a Lithium-ion battery based mild-hybrid technology too.

Plannig to buy one? Well you could book yours online or at the nearest dealers from Aug 22 onwards by paying a sum of INR 11000
