TNR Stella Electric Scooter Launched In India

All-electric Stella Classic is a practical retro-styled electric scooter

Haryana-based TNR e Vehicles has launched a new retro-styled electric scooter in the country- Stella Classic. Priced from INR 50,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi), the Stella Classic is a stylish, tech-packed urban mobility solution. The iCAT-approved, GO Green-certified e-scooter needs no registration or license. The e-scooter can now book these online or through dealer outlets.

As you would have guessed by now, the TNR Stella is a low-speed EV. It is 1800 mm long, 700 mm wide and 1130 mm tall, and thus has the classic scooter proportions. In terms of design, Stella looks more like a retro-scooter. The circular headlamp, classy front apron, and good-looking rear are all much desirable. The scooter rides on 300/10 tubeless wheels. In terms of equipment, Stella Classic gets central locking with anti-theft, keyless driving, USB charging, a Swipe system, and the like.

The TNR Stella electric scooter has a 60V motor paired to a 20-30 Ah battery pack (The scooter gets a Lead Acid battery as standard while a Lithium-ion unit is available as an option) This low-speed EV is claimed to offer a range of 70-80 km. TNR claims Stella Classic to take 6-8 hours for a full charge on the Lead-Acid version and 4-5 hours on the Li-ion guise. The Lithium-ion battery, however, is roughly 2-3 kilos heavier than the Acid battery.

Stella gets disc brakes at the front and rear drums. Suspension is handled by telescopic front forks and rear hydraulics. Stella is claimed to carry payloads of up to 160 kilograms.
