Tata Motors commercial vehicle lineup consists of LCV, SCV, buses and I&LCV

The homegrown brand, Tata Motors has announced a price hike across its commercial vehicle range post-January 1 2021. The models across the range of M&HCV, I&LCV, SCV and Buses will see price revisions. Although there are no words on what extend the prices will go up to, the increase in price will depend on the specific model, variant, and fuel type for sure.

According to Tata, the steadily increasing material cost and other input costs, the impact of exchange rate fluctuations, and the transition to BS6 norms have collectively brought in hikes on the manufacturing cost of vehicles. The proposed price revision will help the company to pass a percent of the increase in manufacturing cost onto the customers and stay sound to continue to offer their best in class value.

Currently Tata Motors offers a number of commercial vehicles, in load carrying and passenger transport segments. The load carrying range includes 12 models including Ace Gold, Intra V10, Intra V-30, Yodha Pickup, LCV Truck, ICV Truck, Ultra ICV, ILCV Tipper, M&HCV Rigid Truck, M&HCV Tractor Trailer, M&HCV Construck, Ultra MHCV, and the passenger transport range includes Magic Express, Winger, Electric bus and Starbus Ultra.
