As the lockdown eases, Royal Enfield sales and activities are slowly returning to their new normal…

Royal Enfield has managed to sell decent figures in June, with India entering the Unlock 2.0. RE sold 36,510 units in the previous month pan India. Though this is a 34% drop when put against the 55,082 units mark of June 2019, the prevailing market downturn of 2020 definitely covers it all up. 1555 units were exported in June, which is again a 52% fall in numbers when compared to 2019.

The domestic sales have witnessed a massive 69% degrowth on a YoY basis. Royal Enfield has managed to sell just 54,937 units so far in FY 2020’21, against the whopping 1,74,430 units of the previous fiscal. The exports have slumped to a mere 2330 units this time around. Both combined, it is a massive 69% decline in FY 2020’21.

Following the ongoing Unlock 2.0 in the country, Royal Enfield too has started its journey back to the ‘ new normal’. The brand had recently launched its apparel range for ladies. It had also started contactless sales and service initiatives to cop up with the pandemic. RE had also started the official Royal Enfield Slide School in June, at the Big Rock Diest Park in Bengaluru.
