Getting your Royal Enfield motorcycles serviced during the pandemic is no more a hectic task, here’s why !
In an effort to make things easier for their customers during the pandemic, Royal Enfield has rolled out a unique mobile service initiative. Dubbed ‘Service On Wheels’, the initiative aims at getting the services done at the customer doorsteps by deploying custom-built ‘service motorcycles’ that can carry all the tools required for the same. 800 units of such vehicles have been deployed at the various Royal Enfield outlets across the country.
The ‘Service On Wheels’ fleet motorcycles are purpose built and have all the required space and storage options for storing the tools and equipment for getting the services done. RE claims that these vehicles can be of use in getting upto 80% of all typical service and repair requirements. Specially trained professionals are also being deployed by the maker. The lubes and parts being used continue to come with 12 months of warranty. Owners can avail the service of this initiative by booking their slots with the nearest dealer.
“Customer Satisfaction through Retail and Service Excellence is a huge focus for Royal Enfield. We are committed to constantly enhancing the purchase and ownership experience and the brand interface for the customer. Last year, we launched 600 new Studio Stores to take the brand retail experience all the way to tier II and tier III towns across the country. The recent launch of several service initiatives, and the launch of Service on Wheels today, endeavours to enhance the service experience for the customer in a way that is hassle-free and convenient without compromising on service quality. We will continue to innovate and add value to the overall consumer experience journey through the implementation of various sales and service ideas going forward.”Mr. Lalit Malik, Chief Commercial Officer, Royal Enfield
