Though not a Tesla killer as such., the Pravaig Extinction could be a good pick for the Millenials of the future!

The Pravaig Extinction MK1 is built by the Bengaluru based electric startup company, Pravaig Dynamics and the details revealed by Siddhartha Bagri, Founder, are quite enthusing.

Electric Vehicles (EV) are going to be the future mobility options. Every manufacturer is busy developing newer technologies to make the EVs a sustainable yet convenient mode of transport. The auto industry has seen a massive revolution in the EV space in the past years.

Being part of this EV revolution, Pravaig Dynamics, a Bengaluru based startup company has now made its move, unveiling its EV prototype, the Extinction MK1. The company intends to plant its foot in the global markets with this luxury EV.

The MK1 without any doubts looks very futuristic and sure will make the heads turn. The prototype model features a 2 door coupe design with sloping rooflines, though the production model will be offered in a 4 door guise. Streamlined front fascia accommodates the projector LED headlamps with an LED strip running between them.

The rear end also has the same design theme with LED lights running between the taillights. The Pravaig badging is very neatly embellished in between the taillights. The side profile is rather plain with a bold shoulder line and the car sits on blacked-out multi-spoke alloy wheels.

MK1 is equipped with a 96 kWh Li-ion battery pack which powers the electric motor generating 200 bhp. The car sprints from a stand still to 100kmph in just 5.4sec and can attain a top speed of 196 kmph. Speaking of the efficiency, Bagri claimed that the battery pack has a life span of up to 10 lakh kilometers and will deliver a range of 504km in the fully charged state.

For the time being the company expects to sell 250 units a year and will mainly be focussing on operations in Bengaluru and Delhi. Initially, the Extinction MK1 will be introduced on a leasing basis and will only hit the markets officially by 2022. The price details haven’t been disclosed yet.
