Hyundai India Motors , the country’s second largest passenger car manufacturer and the number one exporter since inception, is one such carmaker who needs to be specially noted for their commitments to the society in general and the efficiency in taking care of the same. We have seen a number of initiatives from Hyundai that have all catered to making India a better and safer place to live and drive around.

The latest initiative from this Korean giant comes in the form of a new film that envisions cleaner roads for an even cleaner India.

Hyundai had released what they call a ‘Swachhcan’ sometime back, in an effort to reduce littering on Indian roads. Essentially a ‘mini trash keeper’, the can be used to store litter during drives, till the time a proper, safe disposal is possible. The swachhcan has been a standard fitment on all Hyundai models since March 01, 2018 and is part of the brand’s ‘Swachh Move’ CSR Pillar for India.

The film encourages the effective use of Swachhcan and thus highlights a socially responsible message with humor.

Commenting on release of the new film, Mr. Y K Koo, MD& CEO, Hyundai Motor India Ltd., said, “As a responsible manufacturer and in-line with the nationwide Clean India Movement, our new film aims to promote and encourage responsible behaviour towards non-littering on the roads. Under our CSR Pillar, Swachh Move – ‘Swachh Can’ is an innovative activation playing a significant role in spreading awareness towards keeping the Indian Roads Clean. This festive season we persuade all car users to be responsible citizens contributing towards the Clean India initiative.”
