BMW Motorrad seems to have had a great festive season in India with the BMW G310 twins- the BMW G310R and BMW G310GS selling 600+ numbers during the Navratras, Dussera and Diwali!
BMW Motorrad seems to have done wonders in India with the BMW G310 twins. Official sources have disclosed that the BMW G310R and BMW G310GS sold over 600 units during the festive season that passed by. Sales have been so high during Navratras, Dussera and Diwali that it’s been a festive season like never before for the manufacturer.
Mr Rudratej Singh, President and Chief Executive Officer, BMW Group India said, “BMW Motorrad has an extremely aspirational and distinguished set of products that have gained immense popularity and trust amongst the motorcycling community in India. Together with highly competitive cost of ownership and steadily expanding outreach throughout the country, BMW Motorrad has created a very strong position for itself in the premium motorcycle segment.
All these factors have contributed to the remarkable success of BMW G 310 motorcycles during the festive season exceeding all expectations. For our customers, the irresistible festive offer was the best Diwali gift as they realized their dream to own the ultimate riding machine. With BMW Motorrad community growing strongly in the country, we will continue to set new benchmarks in our performance.”
The sub-500cc offerings have amassed stellar acceptance among the Indian buyers ever since their market debut sometime back. Developed in Munich, Germany by BMW Motorrad and locally produced in India through a healthy association with TVS and in their plant in Hosur, the BMW G310 R and BMW G310 GS are the most affordable offerings from the German Motorcycle giant.
BMW G310 R is nothing short of a stylish German roadster with thoroughly BMWish agility and dynamics. You get to find a perfect blend of performance and comfort here. The G310R is as good on the city streets as it is on the country roads.
The G310 GS, as the name indicates, is a baby GS! A highly contemporary and thoroughly versatile ADV, the G310 GS embodies all ‘crazy’ genes of the BMW GS family. The bike tackles the tarmac and terrains with profound ease and offers a one of a kind riding experience.
Talking about the brand itself, BMW Motorrad had started their operations here in the country back in April 2017 and currently boasts of over 23 touchpoints across cities. They have brought to India, almost all popular models from the international market. One can buy everything from the puny G310s to stuff as massive as the BMW S1000RR or BMW R1250 RT now in India!
