Think of the Skoda Enyaq iV as a stylish all electric SUV from the Czech carmaker

The wait comes to a close as Skoda lifts the veils off the Enyaq iV, its newest all-electric SUV offering. Think of the Enyaq iV as a stylish electric SUV from the Czech automotive tycoon. It is almost as roomy as the Kodiaq on the inside while still lagging behind the Octavia in the overall length. The Enyaq gets a thoroughly beefed-up version of the modern-day Skoda SUV design. It gets an illuminated Crystal Face grille as an option as well. We had recently seen similar grille treatment on the all-new BMW X6 if you might remember…The Enyaq also gets full LED Matrix headlamps and LED taillights.

The cabin of the SUV gives an immense sense of roominess and comfort. Skoda claims the materials used to be natural, sustainably processed and recycled. Also available is the option to customize the interior to personal tastes and preferences. A massive 13-inch touchscreen handles the duties of an efficient infotainment interface, with connected car features integrated into it. Skoda has also arranged a few clever bits inside the vehicle like a charging cable cleaner, space for the charger under the boot, protective cap for the socket etc.

Talking about the mechanicals, the Enyaq iV is built on the all-new MEB architecture from the Volkswagen Group. This modular electric car platform has the battery integrated into the floor to save space and is often addressed as the skateboard platform for the same. The SUV is available in three battery sizes and with five power outputs ranging from 109 to 225 kW. You could also choose between rear and all-wheel drives as well. The Enyaq would have ranges up to 510 kilometers per charge and would be able to tow up to 1400kg of payload as well.

The carmaker has also launched a limited-run Founder’s Edition to the Enyaq that would be limited to just 1895 units globally. Skoda is currently in the works for setting up Ionity quick charging network throughout Europe. They are also offering wall box for home-charging as well.
