The all new Jaguar XE gets the 2.0L turbo petrol and the 2.0L diesel engines belonging to the Ingenium series.
Jaguar India has finally launched the all-new 2020 Jaguar XE saloon here with a stunning price tag. Available in both petrol and diesel guises, the price of the new Jaguar XE starts at INR 44.98 Lakhs in India.
The car gets a host of changes on its exterior and inside the cabin as well. The front end seems to have undergone complete rework. There is now a set of super gorgeous LED headlamps upfront flaunting magnificent ‘J Blade’ daytime running lights. The front bumper also has been resculpted and the grille blackened. The profile and the rear also see significant tweaks in their respective designs.
On the inside, there is again many a thing to talk about. Boasting of superior material quality and finish, the cabin now gets an all-new 25.4cm (10 inch) ‘Touch Pro’ infotainment screen that has every bit of smartphone connectivity solution one would ever want. There has been the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for the driver seat, mirror audio and climate settings.
There are also added equipment on offer like the Lane Keep Assist and Driver Condition Monitor, Online Pack, ‘Remote with InControl Remote App’ (which is essentially Jaguar’s connected car tech)Connected Navigation Pro navigation system, Wireless Device Charging, Interactive Driver Display and the like.
There are two engine options on offer and the Jaguar XE facelift would be available in its S and SE derivatives. There is a 250hp 2.0 Litre Ingenium turbo petrol mill and a 180hp 2.0 L diesel motor completing the Jaguar XE specs. The automatic box now gets a new gear selector, which the carmaker chooses to call the ‘sportshift selector’, resembling the one found in its rivals like the BMW 3 series.
